Starting weight at heaviest: 13st 5lbs (187lbs)
Finishing weight: 7st 12lbs (110lbs)
Weight lost – 5st 5lbs (77lbs)
I went into knowing it would take a while. No yo-yo or crash diets, just sustainable weight loss. Bear in mind, it's a mental journey even long after the physical journey has finished. There's still strange, depersonalising times you look in the mirror and think, is that me?
But the rest speaks for itself, don't underdo your calories and don't think it will be a quick journey because if it is, you may not be mentally able to maintain it. This may have been the only thing I was patient with! I think that's why I was able to do it.
Now, time for strength training ๐ช๐
