Jordon was still a college student when she ended up seated next to the NFL legend on a flight from Boston to Florida in February 2021.

In June 2021, TMZ broke the story about how the couple met, including a selfie Jordon took of the pair aboard the plane. The site reported Jordon and Bill chatted about her studies, and that he signed a copy of her textbook, Deductive Logic, including a video of the book.

The inside cover was dated February 11, 2021, as Bill wrote on the inside, “Thanks for giving me a course on logic! Safe travels,” while signing his name.

Jordon confirmed the story in a February 2025 Instagram post celebrating four years since she met Bill.

Jordon Hudson Caused Controversy Surrounding Bill Belichick’s 2025 CBS Interview

While the future NFL Hall of Famer was being interviewed by Tony Dokoupil for CBS Sunday Mornings, Jordon made her presence known in the piece that aired on April 27, 2025.

“Jordon was a constant presence during our interview,” Tony noted in a voice-over, while showing her sitting just feet away off camera from where he and Bill were seated.

“You have Jordon over there. Everybody in the world seems to be following this relationship,” Tony said to Bill while asking how he dealt with people’s opinions about their romance.

“I’ve never been too worried about what everybody else thinks. I just to do what I feel is best for me and what’s right,” he responded.

When Tony asked how the couple met, Jordon was shown behind a monitor as she quickly interjected, “We’re not talking about this.”

Tony seemed surprised, asking her, “No?” as Jordon responded with an emphatic “No!”

The journalist then moved on from the subject, noting in a voice-over, “It’s a topic neither one of them is comfortable commenting on.”

After some fans showed concern about how Jordon came off during the interview, Bill made it clear in a statement that the piece was supposed to focus on his new book, The Art of Winning – Lessons from My Life in Football, and not his private life in an April 30, 2025, statement.

Bill defended Jordon, saying she “stepped in” to “help refocus the discussion,” adding that he and his girlfriend “share a personal and professional relationship.”
