Teri Hatcher Diet and Exercise Tips

What’s the secret to Teri Hatcher looking so good in her forties? With all the pressures of maintaining a Hollywood career and being a single mum over the years, it’s been tough. But with a disciplined diet, exercise and reportedly using natural diet pills, Teri Hatcher has done a fantastic job.

It’s difficult having sympathy for Hollywood stars. We tend to think that, because of their privileged lifestyles, that they don’t have the pressures that the rest of us have. But the pressure of staying at the top, impressing casting directors and maintaining a personal life can be very hard.

What has made it easier for Teri is her love of exercise. What she has to guard against is getting bored. If she gets bored, apparently she stops, so she likes to vary her routine, which has led her to finding a very unusual way to stay fit. “I like to hike and work out at the gym but I get bored easily,” she says. “That’s when I started doing the stripping classes.”

Teri also uses more conventional ways to get exercise, including Pilates and yoga-style stretching exercises. Then she will follow it with thirty minutes of pole dancing.

Of course, all this exercise would be to no avail if it was not accompanied by a healthy diet. Teri tries to keep fat out of her diet as much as possible. She likes to eat grilled chicken or steamed fish with fresh vegetables.

When she needs a treat, occasionally she’ll give in and go for guilty pleasures, which are banana splits with chocolate and… wait for it… gummy bears.

Teri has apparently also been known to use the natural diet pill, Hoodia Gordonii, which is an appetite suppressant. Hoodia has received a lot of attention. It’s proven to be effective in helping to lose weight. However, recent studies have shown that up to 95% of Hoodia contain cheaper ingredients which are completely ineffective – only Hoodia containing the P57 molecule works.

The most important lesson to learn from Teri’s regime is to find food and exercise routines that you like, that keep you interested. There are so many ways to keep fit (including pole dancing) and so many different, healthy foods, that you are bound to find some to keep you happy, healthy and slim.
