She dreaded doing administrative work, that was why she wanted to get it done first. She sometimes wondered what life would be like if she had taken a career path, one that would give her more exposure to the raw forces of nature. That was when an employee knocked on her door. She identified the animal with a species that she had read about some time ago; some predatory eagle known for its orange plumage. But there was only one detail: that species was supposed to have gone extinct more than a hundred years ago. Could That Be Possible? She ran through the whole bibliography on eagles and birds in general that could be found in the area. It took her the whole day to finish with it. At the time, its orange plumage was greatly valued for decorative and ornamental purposes. For this reason, it had gone extinct both in India and in America. Scholars became greatly interested in Stephanie’s findings. Currently, there is a research team in Mount Rainier National Park dedicated exclusively to the study of that bird. Only the specimen found by Jenkins has been seen. Still, the possibility of more predatory orange eagles flying around other national parks or even common areas in America isn’t excluded.
