Boy Notices Smell Coming From Camp Supervisor And Calls 911

Help! The young boy didn’t know what to do. The smell was overwhelming, and his supervisor was unconscious in the tall grass before him. He needed to get an adult’s attention. “Help! Help, please!” He shouted at the top of his lungs. The smell was burning his nostrils, right down to his lungs. He was terrified, but he had to help the woman. The children gathered for breakfast and enjoyed a canoe sprint, and everything seemed to be going according to plan. But things took a turn for the worst when noon rolled around. Their supervisors were close, chatting among themselves as they watched over the children. “Okay, Jason, you stand there,” Kyle pointed toward a tall tree. “I’m going to try and kick the ball. you’re the goalie, the tree is the goalpost, okay? Kyle lined himself up behind the ball, his focus shifting between his feet and the tree. He had always been rather competitive, especially when it came to soccer. He took a deep breath, and then he ran. As he kicked the ball, he watched it fly high into the air, but it didn’t work out as intended. The chemical smell was becoming too much to handle. He couldn’t help but wonder if it was the reason why she had passed out. They got up immediately. Helping Pexels Two of the men ran into the bushes while another one of the female supervisors called for an ambulance. Luckily for Kyle, one of her teachers was nearby too. She took the young boy away from the commotion and gave him something to drink, “Don’t worry, everything will be okay,” She told the boy, but it was clear that he was still panicked. Danger Pexels “I think there’s something dangerous out there,” He told her in a hushed voice. “I could smell something, it smelled like poison,” He told his teacher. This concerned Mrs. Parker, his teacher. She stayed with the boy for a while longer as they waited for the ambulance. The children were all asked to go to their rooms until the situation was cleared up. Still Unconscious Pexels The two men had found Miss Susan and had dragged her out of the bushes. She was still unconscious as she lay on the floor. One man felt for a pulse and was relieved to find it. It felt like hours had passed, but eventually, Kyle could see the red and blue lights approaching. An ambulance and a police car had pitched up. The Officer Pexels While paramedics were tending to the unresponsive woman, an officer approached the young boy and his teacher. He wanted to know what had happened back there. “We were playing soccer, and I accidentally kicked the ball into the bush. She told me to wait while she got it, but then she didn’t come back,” He started. An Explanation Pexels He went on to explain the strange smell, which concerned the officer. What on earth could the smell have been? Mrs. Parker remained by his side as he gave his side of the story. But just then, someone called for the Officer from where the supervisors had been sitting earlier that day. They were holding Miss Susan’s water bottle in the air. Kyle panicked. Was it poisoned? The Smell Pexels “Officer, I’m going to have to ask you to smell this,” The second offer said, placing the bottle in the man’s hand. He took one small sniff which made his face twist into a frown. “Was this what you were smelling back there?” He asked Kyle and brought the bottle to his nose. Sure enough, it was what he had smelt. He then turned to Mrs. Parker who had a surprised expression on her face, “Call these children’s parents. They are not safe under the supervision of this campsite,” He said. The parents were called immediately and asked to collect their children. In The End Pexels Kyle was beyond disappointed when his parents pitched up. He wanted to stay, but luckily, his parents wanted to reward him for what he had done. “Son, we are so proud of you for helping that lady when you thought she was in danger. We’ve booked a lodge about a mile from here, you are welcome to ask Jason if he can come with us,” His father said. Kyle was delighted. The manager at the campsite apologized again and again, and Miss Susan was fired for compromising the safety of the children, but in the end, Kyle still had an amazing weekend. Source link
