Cat Won’t Stop Staring At Photo, Mom Checks Video And Realizes Why

She Had To Do Something Judy’s heart was racing. It felt like she was running a marathon. Her eyes scanned over the screen and then back at the cat. The cat was staring at the photo with longing in its eyes. What was she trying to tell her? Did this have anything to do with her military son? It definitely wasn’t a coincidence, and she had to do something about it right now. She called her son, but she was unprepared for what was on the other side of the line. As soon as they got married, Judy pushed their relationship to the next level. They became parents. Judy can still remember every detail of the day she welcomed her son into the world. She put him in a good school and started a college fund in his name. When he was 12-years-old he begged his mom to get him a cat, and she gave in. They welcomed little Toothless into their family with open arms. When they adopted him from the shelter he was still a kitten. Adam was excited to have a new companion. When he told Judy what his plans for his future were, she nearly had a heart attack! He wanted to join the army and nothing was going to stop him. She worried about his decision, he would be going somewhere so uncertain. But she understood that it was his dream and she had to respect it. It felt like his purpose in life and he needed to fulfill it. She wasn’t going to stand in his way. She was 6-years-old and Adam had been her best friend for her entire life. Judy could tell that she missed Adam. But this was the first time she had ever shown such strange behavior. Judy had no idea why Toothless had started acting up. She knew she had to find some answers before coming up with her own conclusions. The first time it happened, she didn’t think much of it, but this was the third time! Her husband wasn’t the one doing it, so it had to be Toothless. She was the one knocking down the photo. She had to figure out why she was doing it, it had never happened before. She knew that there was only one way to get the answers she so desperately wanted. She had found the old security camera in a box and set it up immediately. She connected it to her laptop so that she could watch from her office. She quickly made her way over to her laptop and watched the footage from the night before. She watched like a hawk as Toothless approached the photo. She watched carefully as Toothless wistfully stared at the photo. Then she knocked it down. Now Judy knew that Toothless was the one knocking it down, but she still didn’t know why. Why was she so fascinated by that particular photo and why was she knocking it down every day? She didn’t seem to care about any of the other photos. Only that particular one. Judy tried to come up with a reasonable explanation but she just couldn’t. But that day she cooked dinner, did the washing, and watched her favorite tv show until she forgot all about it. She woke up, brushed her teeth, got dressed, and started her morning routine. She grabbed a cup of coffee and went to her office to start working. But when she walked in, she noticed that her laptop was still on with the camera on the screen. What was odd was that Toothless was watching the photo through the laptop screen. Then it clicked. It was Adam, she asked him if everything was alright, but she had no idea that it was no coincidence. She told him about what Toothless was doing. But when Adam heard about his cat, he had a reaction that she could never have expected. She could hear him break down over the phone and start to cry. But she could never have guessed the reason. So when he heard about what Toothless did, he couldn’t keep it a secret any longer. He had something planned that he hadn’t told his mother about yet. He wanted to keep it a secret from her, but it seemed that somehow Toothless knew about it and didn’t want his mother to be kept in the dark any longer. He had been in town for two days, and somehow his cat knew that he was close. In fact, the closer Adam got to the house, the more restless Toothless got. Adam couldn’t believe that his feline was so in tune with her owner that she could feel when he was nearby.
