F/36/5’4″ [248 > 132 lbs = -116 lbs ] 2 years almost to the day. Monthly update. I’m going to keep pushing.
I started this abruptly 2 years ago. I didn't count calories or macros. I started by cutting all my meal portions in half, eating plant based for breakfast and lunch while cutting around 95% of my alcohol intake, initially.
I started doing more activities outdoors, and found a fondness for hiking in the mountains. I adopted a puppy, and take her for brisk walks , often. I just started strength training a few months ago.
I've got a lot of loose skin, before you ask. It's mostly concentrated to my inner thighs and around my belly button. I don't have immediate plans for skin removal surgery, but it's something I have thought about for the future.
For now, I'm not literally dying, like I was when I was morbidly obese. For that, I'm happy and content.
