Food Aggression: Before and After Training

Do you work with an animal that seems “hangry”? Even if the animal is healthy and gets a plentiful diet? Animals can learn to present undesired behaviors when anticipating food, if it gets reinforced. We can also teach them to present good behaviors in order to acquire food. My latest course in the online education program www.animaltrainingfundamentals.com covers how this problem behavior happens and a variety of strategies you can use to address this. This clip shows the before, during and after of applying some of these protocols. You can get access to all the courses for just $1 for 10 days. Pick a membership option and enter the code TRY10DAYS. (Please note the bear in this video had been declawed prior to coming to the zoo – it was rescued from a traditional eastern European circus. The keeper is not in danger interacting with his paw) #aggressivebehavior #foodaggresion #undersiredbehavior #pigtraining #beartraining #liontraining
