Workout Your Mind, Then Your Body
If you want to successfully lose weight you may need to do more than just eat right and exercise. Doing these things will naturally help you to reduce your level of body fat, but are you going to be able to stick with your exercise plan and diet forever?
The truth is that most people will fail to stick with any weight loss program and will invariably put any weight they lose back on again soon after. The reason for this is because most people are not ‘programmed’ to believe that they can lose weight for good. Their inner subconscious programming will essentially tell them that they over overweight, and no matter how many times they lose weight in the short them, they will inevitably return to their ‘default weight’ soon after.
The subconscious part of our brain is essentially what guides and drive us through our lived. It is going to determine our successes and failures, whatever they may be, and will be extremely important in your battle with the bulge. If you’ve tried many diets before without long term success then its highly likely that your ‘wiring’ is wrong. In order to counter this, you need to try to ‘rewire’ your programming so it works with you, not against you.
What most people do when they want to lose weight is to workout their body – they exercise and start off on a brand new diet. What they need to do first, however, is workout their mind. This is the foundation piece that most people fail to put into place.
If you don’t have a subconscious that is programmed to believe you can lose weight permanently, it simply won’t happen. Only once you have done this successfully should you start to take active steps to lose weight through diet and exercise. Do so and you’ll find that sticking with your diet and avoiding all of the pitfalls of dieting will become easy. You enjoy exercise, you’ll feel more confident, you’ll begin to feel slim before you even get there.
Surely this is the result that you are craving. No-one wants to only lose weight for a short time and then see if all rebound soon after. Everyone’s ideal is to lose weight for good, and this can be more than a pipe dream if you put the right foundations in place. All of this starts with re-programming your subconscious mind so that it becomes your supporter, and not your saboteur.
