GREEN ALMOND PROTEIN SMOOTHIE
Did you know that spinach actually contains protein, despite being low in calories? The spinach in a serving of this smoothie contributes about 1.5 grams of protein and only 10 calories. The almond butter adds about 3 grams of protein and 100 calories. Almond butter is also very nutrient-dense, with healthy fats, calcium and iron. Filling out the protein roster, the yogurt here adds about 4.5 grams, and even the bananas and strawberries contribute a little bit.
