A Safari to Kenya – One to Five Days of a Ten Day Visit

Kenya is a very beautiful safari destination. A sample itinerary to the Country can be as follows. One safari can include Nairobi, The ark, Samburu, Sweetwaters, Mt Kenya Safari Club, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Masaai Mara and back to Nairobi. This safari takes about ten days. On the first day, on arrival to the country, you will be met at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport and continue to the Ark in the Aberdares Mountains. After lunch, you will be transferred to the Ark situated in the heart of the Aberdares forest. At night, you will be able to view wildlife such as elephants, rhino, lions and buffaloes at the camp as they come for water at the park. Dinner is served as you have an up close and candid moment with the animals as they come to the water hole for water and lick salt.

On the second day, you will have breakfast at the ark and proceed to the Aberdare country club to pick your luggage and head north to Samburu. You will arrive at the camp in time for lunch. After lunch, you will enjoy a game drive around the park. After the drive, you will return to the Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. On the third day you will have an early morning game drive then breakfast at the lodge. Thereafter you can move around the lodge enjoying the facilities given. Thereafter at noon, you will have lunch and an afternoon game drive. Dinner at the lodge and an overnight stay will proceed.

On the fourth day, you will have breakfast at the lodge and depart to sweetwaters via a game drive route. You will arrive at the tent in time for a delicious lunch then an afternoon game drive followed by dinner at the camp and a sleep over. On the fifth day, you will head to Mt Kenya after breakfast for an exciting day of viewing the mount at a close range. Enjoy the facilities offered by the club and your overnight stay.
