There are millions of weight loss tips out there for anyone who wants them. However, most of those tips aren’t very realistic for the average person. A busy mother with a full time job rarely has an hour to spare at the gym. The average college student living in a dorm room cannot possibly prepare a healthy dinner. We need weight loss tips that we can use.
Here are the basics:
1. Determine how many calories or carbs you can consume in one day, to obtain the weekly weight loss that you want. A healthy weight loss is just a couple of pounds a week, which means that you need to take in 7000 fewer calories throughout the week.
2. Eat six times a day. You don’t have to eat full meals – ever really – but you do have to eat. Prepare grab bags in advance. Fill those bags with low calorie foods that you can quickly eat on the run, and if possible, prepare meals that you can freeze and pop in the microwave later.
3. Drink lots of water. Water helps to flush toxins out of your body and keeps your body functioning properly. It also helps to keep you feeling full throughout the day.
4. Exercise doesn’t have to occur in the gym. You can exercise anywhere. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Park further away and take a brisk walk to the door. Get a little more vigorous when you are cleaning house. It all counts as exercise.
Weight loss doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be achieved if the plan suits your life, and you live the plan.
