my senior year of high school was filled with so much stress. i was so busy, didn’t eat well, and my hormones were crazy off balance.
after going to college, having to walk to all my classes, a free gym membership included with tuition, and having healthier food options available to me (parents do not have the healthiest lifestyle) i’ve been so much better both physically and mentally.
i loved going to the gym at school when exercising used to be shameful or embarrassing for me. after returning home from school for the summer, i got a local gym membership there and got my boyfriend into fitness too, which was great for the both of us. weight loss has never been my priority, it’s been a side effect of treating myself better. weightlifting has been a huge part, and i’m pretty proud of my body recomposition even though i still have so far to go.
these aren’t the best pictures to show my physical difference, but when i start to think i haven’t done much i look at these pictures and try to remember how different my face is.
anyway, sorry for the long rant. any tips for a busy college student trying to stay healthy are appreciated 🙂
