F/42/5’2 [138 lbs – 121 lbs = 17 lbs] July 2021 -> October 2022 [15 months]. Stopped drinking wines and cocktails, and reduced my meat consumption to once a week.

Before and through the pandemic I was holding steady at around 127-130 lbs. Then I got together with a chef in January 2021, and that meant drinking lots and lots of incredible wine and eating at some great places. The weight delightfully packed on and hovered at around 137-140 lbs for a while during the summer of 2021. A few months before getting married this summer (2022) I decided to stop drinking wine or sugary cocktails, and I cut down my meat consumption to once per week. I started shedding weight so stupidly fast, it was like a joke.
I think the wine bloat kind of made me look more cherubic and younger?
I still eat all the (vegetarian) food and I still drink wine and a couple of non-sweet cocktails from time to time, so I guess I was drinking A LOT of wine.
