‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season 10: Trailer, Cast, Premiere, More

A decade of drama! Bravo confirmed in May 2022 that Vanderpump Rules would be returning to the small screen, and in January 2023, the official trailer for the highly anticipated 10th season of the beloved reality series premiered – showcasing explosive arguments, tense confrontations, new beginnings and more.

“We’re not in our 20s anymore. We’re grown adults and we’re going through divorces having children, it’s just, it’s a different game,” Lala Kent told Variety at BravoCon in October 2022. “You guys will see the first person I hooked up with since my last relationship on Vanderpump Rules, which was weird. I’m looking at cameras going ‘The boy is here, I want to take him to the bedroom … What am I doing right now?’ Out of body experience.”

Scheana Shay told the publication that “the old show is back,” while Tom Schwartz referred to the upcoming season as “a VPR reset.”

‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season 10 Trailer

The season 10 trailer of Vanderpump Rules premiered on January 9, 2023. While there are some happy moments – like Scheana and Brock Davies’ wedding in Cancún, Mexico, and Katie and Lala dipping their toes back into the dating pool – much of the trailer centers around the intense drama fans of VPR have come to know and love.

“I never had hatred for you and now I do,” a seething Katie tells Schwartz after the TomTom owner hooked up with Raquel at Scheana and Brock’s wedding in August 2022. “I think you’re pathetic, I think you’re a drunk and I think you’re a loser.”

Additionally, the trailer shows the buildup of tension between Schwartz and BFF-turned-business-partner Tom Sandoval as they prepare to open their second bar, Schwartz & Sandy’s, which was also documented during season 9 of the reality show.

“We gotta get this f–king bar opened,” Schwartz says, later adding, “If it wasn’t for this bar, me and Katie would still be together.”

Is ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Coming Back?

In July 2022, Raquel Leviss spilled on how season 10’s filming is already underway and what it was like to be back around her former fiancé, James Kennedy, for the first time since their split. “We’re being cordial. I haven’t seen James since we broke up basically so last week was a new kind of situation to be in,” the pageant competitor revealed to E!, adding, “But so far so good. I think we just want the best for each other and supporting each other in that way.”

The Bravo star said about their on camera reunion, “I saw him at SUR for the first time, so I was working and just trying to stay focused on my tables and not think too much about him, because why work yourself up like that?”

How Did Season 9 of ‘VPR’ End?

The January season 9 reunion was full of major bombshells, including the announcement of James and Raquel’s split.

“The second she said, ‘We are not soulmates.’ For me that was a f–king enlightenment,” James said backstage after the former flames called off their engagement. “She has made her decision. Her parents have always hated me. It has never been easy.”

Lala detailed the downfall of her and Randall Emmett‘s relationship, going into detail about the allegations that he cheated. They’ve both acknowledged their split in-depth.

“Randall was not who I think he is. I thought I knew that he was loyal to me. That is all I wanted,” the Give Them Lala author said on the show. “The fact that this man — he knew what he was out doing — and he made me feel safe enough to bring a child into this world. I feel disgusted.”

At the time, Katie Maloney and Schwartz were still together, but they announced their split in March 2022.

Katie Maloney on ‘Really Interesting’ ‘VPR’ Season

“I think given how different all of our lives are at this point, it would make for a really interesting season coming up,” Katie told Us Weekly in April 2022. Perhaps, the reality star was referring to her broken relationship with Tom and how they both plan to move on. However, despite their divorce, Katie told the publication that she and her ex are still “family.”

Katie explained, “We don’t plan on not seeing each other or maintaining kind of a close friendship. We can’t imagine after our history and spending all these years together just not [being in] each other’s lives.”

With three breakups between season 9 and a forthcoming 10th season, there’s sure to be a lot of content from Lala, Katie and Raquel. In fact, Katie teased some “awkward [and] uncomfortable” moments between herself and Tom while chatting with E! News at BravoCon in October 2022.

“I still wanted us to maintain a level of respect for one another,” she added. “I try to keep my life and what I was doing separate and private to not hurt him with that.”

Are Tom and Ariana Still Together? Split Rumors

Don’t worry, Sandoval and Ariana Madix are still going strong and fans will see their relationship during the upcoming season.

“Obviously, with all these people being single, like, those dynamics have shifted a lot,” Ariana teased to Us Weekly in October 2022. “I mean, you’re definitely gonna see some of James’ new girlfriend. So that’s definitely [a] new dynamic and you’ll see her interacting with us. It’s a lot. It feels very new and different.”

While Tom and Ariana appear to be solid, drama is seemingly on the horizon after the season 10 trailer showed Scheana telling Sandoval, “Katie said you and Ariana have an open relationship.”

‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season 10 Cast: Is Anyone New?

Bravo has yet to announce any new cast members who may join the original Vanderpump Rules stars. Fans can expect to see Sandoval, Ariana, Schwartz, Katie, Lala, Raquel, Scheana, Brock and Charli Burnett return for the tenth season, with Kristina Kelly – who appeared as a friend on previous seasons and is pregnant with her first child – Peter Madrigal and James’ girlfriend, Ally Lewber, making appearances throughout. Of course, Lisa Vanderpump will also return for the upcoming season.

However, one guest star won’t be returning. Randall made it clear that fans will not be seeing him on Bravo following his split from Lala.

“I never wanted to be on Vanderpump, but I respect the success of Vanderpump and I really wish all the people on that show [success],” the producer told The Sun in December 2022. “I’m friends still with some of them. I just think what they’ve created is amazing and I give them so much love and praise, but in my life I’m focused on my children and focused on making films.”

‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season 10 Premiere Date
