Advent Calendar buying guide and preparing for Christmas
When preparing for Christmas you may be looking to buy advent calendars or other small gifts as well as wrapping paper and decorations. I hope these ideas help you find the perfect advent calendars for all the family and items to help you prepare for a fantastic Christmas.

Unique decorations
Have you ever noticed that the Christmas decorations in most high street stores are of white people? I was so excited to discover March Muses who make decorations for all skin colours and also other products that are not as seasonal! they were on Dragons Den and I am not surprised they got funding their products are amazing!
I think it is so important that children grow up seeing everyone as equal and this is a big step in the right direction for that. Whilst they are great to buy for people of colour I also think white people should consider adding them to their decorations too. Check the range of decorations and Christmas cards etc here.

Eco-friendly wrapping paper and room spray

Uh Oh Milo, The Excited Elf is a great book in the Uh Oh Milo series perfect for children approximately under the age of 7. The excited elf is aimed at encouraging children to sleep early on Christmas eve as they hear all about an excited elf who is waiting for children to sleep to get busy! This is a great lift-the-flap board book about Christmas and the reindeer for babies and toddlers. The book is strong with sturdy flaps and is great to help little ones learn the stories of Santa and the reindeer as well as work on their hand-eye coordination. The book is available from Amazon for £6.99.
Christmas Clothing
Instead of a Christmas jumper why not buy a Christmas jersey? This is the Liverpool FC Christmas Jersey but there is a huge range including American Football, cricket, darts and many more. This one is £23 and available in sizes from kids aged 1-2 to adults 4xl so something for pretty much everyone!
Advent calendars
An Advent with a difference, This Advent book can be used year after year with lift the flaps and a lovely story too. A great buy for children of all ages to count down the 12 days to Christmas! This is just £11.95 from Amazon.

For a football fan how about a Liverpool football club musical advent calendar? The Liverpool FC advent calendar has a different LFC item and trivia question behind each door which helps you build the scene over December. If you land on a day where you receive a magnetic-based LFC Player behind the door (Virgil Van Dijk, Jordan Henderson and Mohamed Salah), you can watch them glide and interact with one another on the magnetic, moving football pitch base, to the anthem “You’ll Never Walk Alone.” A great buy and if you want a sneak peek, check out this video which shows more than any photo could! For jam lovers, the Bonne Maman Advent calendar might just be what they are looking for. It contains 23 mini jars of jam and two surprises! If you are buying for a Roblox fan then I want to share with you the Roblox Advent Calendar. Unlike the other calendars, I felt it was important to share what is inside this one as I feel that as the parts make up a character some parents may prefer to choose if their child would cope with this or not.
The above shows the pieces you receive which are not shown on Amazon and whilst it is alluded to on the packaging I wanted to make it completely clear. The Roblox Advent is £26 from Amazon.
For couples this Advent-ure calendar is great. Each day reveals something you should do together and includes both sexy and romantic challenges. I have only shown you the first one scratched off so as not to spoil your fun below!

The Nivea Advent Calendar for women is a lovely calendar full of treats for your skin from a brand you know and trust. Again I won’t spoil the surprise for you and share what is inside but if you read the description on Amazon it does tell you so if you like a surprise ignore the description! This calendar has an RRP of £40 and is available in many high-street stores and is currently only £30 on Amazon! There is a similar men’s one available which is also £40 but is currently £38.98 on Amazon, so less of a saving!
