After battling a year of grief, emotional eating, anxiety, and depression. I mad…

After battling a year of grief, emotional eating, anxiety, and depression. I made it up in my mind that January 3rd would be my fresh start to create daily habits that would be my everyday routine.

The routine I created for myself has helped me lose 9.4 lbs this month. It’s close to my goal that I set for myself which was 10 lbs. The scale fluctuated this morning because I was drinking water late last night and this morning 😂 before getting on the scale.

Nonetheless I’m proud of myself. The picture on the left, when I was taking it I really didn’t recognize myself. I could see the sleepless nights, the days I didn’t feel like getting out bed, and emotional eating. That’s when I truly knew I had to see this through. I have found joy again in taking care of myself. I was in a very dark place but eating health again, moving my body, spending time with God, and journaling has helped me tremendously.
