Revealed – The Protein Power Diet, Good Or Bad?

In the world of low-carb diets, the Protein Power diet is believed to be one of the best and most credible low-carb diets around. Its main purpose is to change a person’s eating habits through 3 phases which take 3 weeks through which weight loss and craving changes occur. But is it good or bad for you?

Here’s the short version of the Protein Power Diet and what it’s all about. This diet is broken down into 3 phases:

1. Intervention: This phase is just as it sounds. Users are given food lists and are told how/when to eat these foods, gradually implementing them into their daily lives and slowly getting rid of their current eating habits, most important foods that contain carbs. This takes about 2 weeks and is the most difficult part of the diet to complete.

Transition: This phase of the diet is when you start getting used to the effects of the Protein Power diet. This phase is less difficult to complete because you’re already implementing the foods involved in this diet into your routine and getting used to it.

Maintenance: This is pretty self-explanatory, but after you’ve completed the diet, you continue eating these meals (It’s mostly high protein foods) and keep sticking to the rules. You can get more detailed info about these phases on the official Protein Power website.

So the question again is, is this diet good or bad for you?

Well after researching customer reviews, the conclusion is mixed. On the pro side, people experience health improvement and weight loss results by doing this diet. On the con side, however, this diet requires long-term commitment and for many people, it’s difficult to stick to this diet’s regime or no carb consumption. Many people quit and unfortunately the weight comes back as a result.
